  Stylist Productions Fashion Show 06.06.2002

Venue: Nomenclature

Twelve sultry women captivated a jam-packed room one Thursday night at Nomenclature. With sweet, sexy and cool attitudes, the designs they flaunted were beautiful and intriguing. Stylist Productions, now known as Asherah, held one of their monthly fashion shows Jennifer Grayfor the infamous Hustler party. There were plenty of hot fashions, including sheer blouses and knockout gourgeous footwear. I was able to snag a view so good that I noticed a couple price tags slip past the model's clothes, but considering the style, this was very forgivable! The models did a fabulous job of keeping up with each other and showing their expression along with the apparel they strutted.

Funky, deep house nicely accompanied their show. DJs Jonathan Edwards and that evening's birthday boy, Kevin Owens, played out great sets for the show. The setup, the lighting, and the music made it all a very impressive setup. Those of you who are familiar with this venue in the heart of Midtown know it has a cozy, at-home feeling. Christina BartosThe crowd in attendance was extremely supportive, going wild and applauding as each model strolled out the summer's sexiest designs. Apparently, some of the hottest accessories this season are the leather tie-fringe belts that rocked well with the outfits they accented. With the temperature being rather warm in the room, this fashion show and the georgeous, talented models definitely made it hotter!

Stylist Productions has decided to "reinvent" themselves, due to the fact that one of their partners has moved to New York, and is now referred to as Asherah. Christina Bartos, Taisha Joyner and Ayana Johnson are the brilliant partners who make up Asherah, and they are quickly gaining a name for themselves in the fashion industry. They have currently held twelve events this year and have a demand for their services, which include styling, makeup, hair, models and advertising. For the Hustler party, they showcased fashions from Posh Boutique in Decatur; hair designs were provided by Vidal Sassoon's Artistic Team; makeup for the models was done by MAC Professionals; custom jewelry made by Rampage Designs. Asherah's "passion for fashion" is clearly shown through their hard work and determination to become the most reliable and identifiable fashion production company not only in Atlanta, but all around. Be sure to check out their future fashion shows at the Hustler Party held every first Thursday of the month at Nomenclature Museum.
