Phoenix Rising

Back in the day, a promotion company called PlurPlanet burst onto the scene out of nowhere to throw some of the largest and most memorable events showcasing the very best talent with a focus on Atlanta's locals. Since then, others have tried to follow in our footsteps, but none have duplicated our vibe. After a 7 year hiatus and changing our name to EDMPlanet, we're back for this very special night! We're rising from the ashes and getting the old crew back together all under one roof to bring back the good times and remind everyone what things were like back before everything went mainstream.

The Talent:

Fonkah (-FKA- DJ Snyper)
(Sun & Shadow Media | Imperial Dub | Tense:Audio | Underground Syndicate - San Diego, CA)
Atlanta's long time Drum & Bass ambassador returns to home base for a night of point blank, bass injected madness. Dropping his signature style of deep and powerful neurodub Drum & Bass, Fonkah will be rinsing the sickest tunes intertwined with his amazing live VJ display. Don't miss the unique appearance to witness Fonkah absolutely blow up the spot!

DJ Keri
(Playboy / Radikal Records / Slappa / Good Pussy Records)
This Dance Music Diva knows how to rock a dancefloor! She has accomplished many illustrious promotions, magazine featurettes, endorsements, TV appearances and tours all over the globe numerous times over. Join us as we celebrate the recent release of her new album, "Now's The Time".

(Breaks / Electro / DnBALR / FSOB / Bombtraxx / Mechanoise / Household)
His string of remix, re-fix, re-edits, and bootlegs have gained him huge attention and acclaim as of late, and have been featured on several mixes by the worlds top Breakbeat DJs, along with paving the way for gigs in Europe and all throughout the US. We are very honored to have one of Atlanta's most talented with us this night for a rare hometown appearance.

Lance Blackford
(Horrible Children /
A true legend of the scene, Lance has been rockin sox off and making panties drop since 1995. Be warned, his set will take you on a journey that you may never return from.

Corey Von Waters
(The Waters Edge/Technically Funk'd)
This man has been a staple in the Atl scene for over a decade now. He's sure to set the room on fire with his mastery of multi-genre mixing.

(In The Gruv / Underground Syndicate)
Sikora has been dropping his breakbeat sound since 1998. Known for his mixed CD's and moving asses on the dance floor, Sikora is always a crowd favorite.

After being imported from Mexico City in 2000, Zan has gained an incredible amount of experience behind the decks over the last 11 years. With a mixture of dubz & drumz, electro and breaks, Zan continues to show Atlanta his unique style of mixing, sampling and tricks.

Jesse James
We've always been known for finding the best raw talent, and some things never change. Get ready to get down to Jesse James' debut performance.
